CTVglobemedia’s CHUM Radio Network, [CHUM], has entered into a joint venture with Magnet Mobile Media to generate revenue from premium text messaging services.
magRADIO is a turn key product enabling radio stations to launch and manage text messaging programs. Text messaging is now used globally by radio stations to enhance listener participation and enable interactive advertising.
The product is already connected to over 140 stations and is employed by Corus Radio, Rogers Media and NewCap Radio.
