The 2010 Vancouver Olympics are just weeks away and Vancouver station, 99.3 The FOX, has launched its own Olympic news alert service.
Listeners are able to text GOLD to 843369 to receive breaking Olympic news and updates via SMS.
To text in and join costs $0.25. All texts alerts are free but your normal network SMS rates may apply.
The service is available on all mobile networks in Canada and is promoted online, on air and via iPhone streaming applications.
